About Me

My photo
I am a 25 year old bachelorette just trying to find my place in this crazy world. I am the youngest of 5. I have 2 older sisters & 2 older brothers, and I have 9 nieces & nephews! I enjoy good times, with good friends. I work for a professional staffing firm & live here in Austin where I was born & raised. Somewhere along the way in this journey we call LIFE..I hope to find my prince charming but until then, I will continue enjoying life as it is :)

A quote I like: "I believe we write our own stories. And each time we think we know the end - we don't. Perhaps luck exists somewhere between the world of planning, the world of chance, and in peace that comes from knowing that you just can't know it all. You know, life's funny that way. Once you let go of the wheel, you might end up right where you belong."

For My Sister & Luis!

CLICK THE LINK
(it should be on the lower left hand side of the page)

I found this on KASE 101's website. It's called "Show Off Your Solider" Sooo, I decided to take a moment and show off Luis & my sister - since I feel that she deserves just as much recognition!
It's really neat, cause you can scroll through all the pictures that have been submitted and their stories are attached. I didn't know if they would post mine, but they DID!!

It's picture/artcile 191-195 - you have to scroll through all of the pics to get there, but it's worth it. I posted pictures of Luis & pictures of my sister & Luis.

The article said this:

Hi, my name is ____ _______ & this is my brother-in-law (insert hook em horns picture, please) SSG Luis Sanchez. Luis has been in the Army for 8 years. He has served our country twice in Iraq & is currently serving a 12 month tour in Afghanistan as a flight medic. He is in the 101st airborne division @ Ft.Campbell. We are all so proud of him & thankful that God has kept his guardian angels over him all these years. He will be home in December and his family can't wait to have him back, especially my sister Kari & her little girl Ashlyn. Here is a picture of my sister Kari & her husband Luis, re-uniting after his tour in Iraq (insert the picture of them hugging w/the rose, please) and a picture of the two of them when he re-in listed (insert picture of them in front of the plane, please) I am just as proud of my sister, as I am her husband Luis. She has been such a strong & supportive wife & incredible mother, she deserves to be recognized for all that she does, as well! I am proud to call them family & love them both very dearly. (insert picture of Luis in front of medical helicopter, please) Thank you Luis for all that you do for the men & women in this country. We miss you & can't wait to have you back home in TEXAS! HOOK EM' HORNS!!!

To see the pics of my sister & Luis, you have to go check it out on the website I posted above!!
